小泉わさび田（こいずみ わさびだ）
「本当に美味しいわさびを育てる条件が揃う場所はそうあるもんじゃない。
それゆえ、もしそんな場所を見つけることが出来たなら、それはかなりの秘境と言っても過言ではない。」
わさび農家の方からそう言われたことを、改めて理解できたのがこの場所でした。
西日本でも有数と言われる理由には、自然の条件を背景に、畳石式という独特の栽培方法を取り入れることにより、良質なわさびの産出を可能にしたからだとか。
カラカラカラ…という清流の音がするわさびの棚田。
透き通るような水が豊富に流れること、わさびを育てる土は透水性があるという自然の条件が整っている上に、周りはまるでこのわさび田をそっと見守るかのような緑。
私たち人間が、そう簡単に足を踏み入れてはいけないような、静かな時間が過ぎゆくこの場所を、でもそっとそっと覗かせてもらえたなら、それはとても幸せことだ…と思う空間なのです。

【英語】Koizumi Wasabi Field
In a farmer’s words, “It is not easy to find a place with the right conditions to grow good quality wasabi. Therefore, it is not extreme to say that it is quite rare to find such a place”. Coming to this place, one can fully understand this statement.
The reason why this place is said to be one of the leading fields in western Japan is due to the conditions of its natural environment. It is also necessary to adopt a special form of cultivation, called tatami ishi (rocks), in order to produce high quality wasabi.
Hear the soothing sounds of pristine waters flowing through the wasabi terrace. The clear and abundant water and the near-transparent soil make the right conditions to naturally grow wasabi. The surrounding greenery also seems to provide a good nurturing environment for this terrace. This peaceful place is so natural that you would think twice about walking through and disturbing it. But if you just quietly look over, you will find your own moment of tranquility and joy.

【中国語】小泉绿芥末田
「要是找到了具备培植真正新鲜好吃的绿芥末的条件的地方，那么说它是密境也不过分吧。」绿芥末农家如此说着，让我们再次理解到这地方。
被认为是在西日本也是屈指可数的理由是，在自然条件的背景里，用塌塌米石方式这种独特的方法，生产出了优质的绿芥末。
哗啦哗啦……，从绿芥末梯田里传出了清流的声音。清澈的水，源源不断地流淌着，在这不但具备了培植绿芥末需要透水地的自然条件，而且周围都是像要保护绿芥末田的翠绿。在这里，时间静静地流淌，我们人的脚好像不适宜轻易地踏进去，但能让我们悄悄地望望，那也是幸运的。
