大山池（だいせんいけ）
ゴクリ。息を飲み込む音が頭の中に響き渡る。こんな大きな湖、一体どうして此処に？
驚きのあまりしばらくボーっと眺めてしまう。山道をグングンと進んでいくと、目の前に突如として現れた大きな水面（みなも）。
かんがい用に作られたため池であり「狼谷貯水ため池」というのが正式名称ですが、晴れた日は大山がさかさに映ることから、いつしか「大山池」と呼ばれるようになりました。
まちの人々がこの池に繰り返し訪れるのは、四季を通して楽しませてくれるから。
晴れた日、穏やかな池を漕ぎ出すボートの波が美しく線を描き、時折跳ね返る魚たちのチャポンという音、鳥のさえずりに包まれます。
また、カヌーを漕ぎだせば、まるでジャングルの一角に入り込むような景色が待っています。
水辺ではキャンプも可能。水面に映る景色は、カメラがなくても心に刻み込まれる、あなたなら、幾つの景色を持ち帰りますか？

Gulp! Yes, gulp in some fresh air and wonder why this humongous pond came to existence. Find yourself in a daze as you look at the pond in amazement. Keep following the trail until you suddenly see a whole mass of water right before your very eyes.
Although this pond was made for irrigation purposes and was officially called “Wolf Valley Reservoir” (Ookamidani Chosui Tameiké), it subtly came to be known as “Daisen Pond” as Mt. Daisen’s reflection can be seen on a clear day. The local townspeople enjoy coming back to this place as it changes in beauty each season.
On a fine day, be absorbed in nature by listening to birds chirping and seeing the calm lake and its beautiful ripples being formed by oars of a boat. You will also notice fish jumping and splashing from time to time. Try canoeing and discover a spot with a jungle-like scenery.
Camping on the bank is possible. Even if you don’t end up taking photos, the beautiful sceneries will no doubt leave an impression in your heart. The question is which images do you take home?

作为灌溉用的储水池，它的正式名称是「狼谷储水池」。在放晴时，因为大山倒影在池中，所以不知何时起就被称作为「大山池」了。四季都可享受的风景，吸引着城市来的人们的重访。晴天的时候，小艇溅起的水波在平静的水面上划出漂亮的弧线，环绕着跳跃的鱼儿发出砰砰的响声，鸟儿的婉转啼叫。若划出小艇，就好像是置身于原始森林的一角的景色在等待着你。
在湖边还可以野外露营。映在水中的景色，不用照相机也会刻入心中。你能把几处景色带回去呢？
